IN-STORE
QUOTATIONS AND CUSTOM-MADE ORDERS<\/b><\/p>\n
all
quotations will remain valid for a period of 30 days from the day quoted. No
work will be\u00a0undertaken or manufactured on verbal instruction. Confirmation
must be made via email or a\u00a0hardcopy is essential with a receipt of 50%
deposit. Contact the sale dept for any custom orders, once\u00a0manufacturing
of a custom order has been started, the order cannot be amended or cancelled.<\/p>\n

orders cannot be returned for credit under any circumstances.<\/p>\n

check your order as information on our documentation is what is provided to the
factory.<\/p>\n

must be brought to our attention immediately telephonically or via email.<\/p>\n

non-refundable deposit is required on placement of order and balance to be paid

REFUNDS,
RETURNS, FAULTS AND WARRANTIES<\/b><\/p>\n
JAD DOORS (PTY)
LTD will accept returns for justifiable reasons, however the customer is
obliged to\u00a0carefully check all goods on arrival and comply with the
procedure below before making any claims.<\/p>\n
Please do
not sign goods as unchecked, as your signature is acceptance of the goods being
in good condition\u00a0and will cause a claim to be rejected.<\/p>\n
Any product
reported as faulty on the day of delivery must not be fitted, finished or
altered as\u00a0JAD DOORS (PTY) LTD cannot replace products if any alterations
have been carried out. Any deviation from\u00a0the manufacturer\u2019s instructions
will cause the warranty to be void.<\/p>\n
Any product
that was purchased from JAD DOORS(PTY)LTD with an original invoice dated 90
days ago or\u00a0more, cannot be returned or credited under any circumstances.<\/p>\n
Any goods
purchased as factory seconds, clearance, end of range, ex display stock or
warehouse damaged\u00a0are sold as seen, and do not carry a warranty and are
not returnable or refundable.<\/p>\n
Any items
purchased online can be returned within 14 working days by yourself from the
date of purchase to\u00a0JAD DOORS directly with the delivery note that was
included with your order.<\/p>\n
Kindly note
that JAD DOORS(PTY)LTD will not take the responsibility of uplifting any goods
that you\u00a0wish to return.<\/p>\n

(PTY)LTD sources Timber and raw material from leading manufacturers which
have\u00a0maintenance instructions and warranty conditions. Kindly contact our
sales team for advice on\u00a0our products.<\/p>\n
Product
image colours on web site may vary from product being supplied. All JAD DOORS
products may vary\u00a0in colour and texture, we strongly advise customers to
purchase all goods for one project at the same\u00a0time as we are unable to
guarantee continuity of a product that you may be hoping to match with
goods\u00a0previously supplied.<\/p>\n
Wooden
doors taller than 2.4 meters are susceptible to twisting and we are unable to
take responsibility if\u00a0this occurs.<\/p>\n
Econo doors
supawood and Masonite doors are intended for internal use only\u00a0kindly note
that JAD DOORS (PTY)LTD\u2019s responsibility stops at the supplying of the door. We
DO NOT offer any installation of any of our products.<\/p>\n
All engineered and solid wooden doors are meant for semi-exterior use only and should not be exposed to direct sunlight or rain. <\/p>\n
All internal doors are for internal use only.<\/p>\n

CARE OF
DOORS AND WINDOWS<\/b><\/p>\n
Wood is a
beautiful, natural material that can last a lifetime if properly treated.<\/p>\n
in our
factory, we take the greatest possible care in order to provide you with a
top-quality product.<\/p>\n
Unless
otherwise requested at the time of ordering our products are delivered
untreated. Until they are treated\u00a0wooden products are highly susceptible
to variations in humidity and temperature which can cause movement\u00a0in the
wood. we strongly recommend, that our care and treatment instructions, supplied
with\u00a0every product, are followed and that the instructions provided by the
manufacturer or whatever product\u00a0is used to seal the wood are strictly
adhered to. In particular, it is important to store the products
properly\u00a0and to make sure that they are treated as soon as possible after
delivery.<\/p>\n
We take no
responsibility for the results of inadequate treatment or poor storage
conditions.<\/p>\n
Doors and
windows should be stored flat and clear off the floor, on three bearers longer
than the width of the\u00a0doors.<\/p>\n
The
products should not be stored on the edge, or on end, or leaning against walls.<\/p>\n
They should
be stored in a dry building with protection from dirt and moisture.<\/p>\n
To avoid
discoloration and possible fading of the timber, they should be stored out of
direct sunlight.<\/p>\n
The
products should not be stored or installed in a building until all wet trades
have been completed and\u00a0allowed to dry.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
TREATMENT
AND INSTALLATION<\/b><\/p>\n
Installation
and treatment of the product must be completed by a qualified installer,
more\u00a0particularly a registered and qualified carpenter. Installation by a
non\u2013qualified installer will\u00a0result in the voiding of guarantees and
warranties A sealant suitable for the intended location of the product
must be applied, in strict accordance\u00a0with the manufacturer\u2019s
instructions, to all surfaces, including top and bottom, lock cavities, etc., no
more\u00a0than seven days after delivery and before installation.<\/p>\n
We
recommend the use of an oil-based sealant incorporating fungicidal and
pesticide agents.<\/p>\n
If any part
of a door, window, or door frame is cut, drilled, or planed, the exposed wood
should be treated\u00a0immediately.<\/p>\n
It is very
important to ensure that the top and bottom of doors receive two coats of
varnish.<\/p>\n
Maintenance
should be carried out at a minimum of six months intervals between maintenance.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
IN-STORE
PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Manufacturing
of products holds a lead time of 14-21 working days. As a company JAD
DOORS(PTY)LTD\u00a0does not offer delivery service, however, we can refer you to
a private driver which has their delivery fee of\u00a0charge. Once the goods
leave the premises with the private drivers, JAD DOORS (PTY)LTD will not be
held\u00a0responsible for any damages during transit, however, goods are checked
that they leave the premises in an\u00a0impeccable condition.<\/p>\n
JADDOORS(PTY)LTD
will not be liable for any claims arising as a result of delayed deliveries due
to strikes,\u00a0material shortages, weather conditions, damages, or any
circumstances beyond our control.<\/p>\n
We accept
no liability if costs are incurred by booking a carpenter before checking and
receiving all goods.<\/p>\n
A delivery
driver should not be expected to assist in any offloading or transporting of
products.<\/p>\n
